CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.- La noche del domingo 11 de enero marcó el cierre de la 83ª edición de los Golden Globes, celebrada en el Beverly Hilton de Beverly Hills, California. La ceremonia, conducida por Nikki Glaser por segundo año consecutivo, reconoció lo mejor del cine y la televisión del año pasado, con un fuerte enfoque en producciones como "One Battle After Another", que lideró con nueve nominaciones y se llevó cuatro premios, y sorpresas como el triunfo de "Hamnet" en drama.
La atención en México estuvo puesta en dos grandes nombres: Diego Luna y Guillermo del Toro. Lamentablemente, ninguno se llevó la estatuilla. Diego Luna, nominado a Mejor actor en serie de televisión - drama por su rol como Cassian Andor en "Andor", perdió ante Noah Wyle por "The Pitt". Por su parte, Guillermo del Toro, contendiente a Mejor director por "Frankenstein", vio cómo Paul Thomas Anderson se impuso con "One Battle After Another".
